Money Management for macOS™

When I switched from Windows® to macOS I had to find a new money management program since there was no Quicken® for the Intel® Mac® computers at the time. After investigating and trying out various programs I came to the conclusion and still feel that Banktivity by IGG Software is a great personal money management program for Mac users. It does everything Quicken for Windows did for me in terms of tracking, reconciling and reporting on all my assets and liabilities. It supports online importing of financial data such as checking account data as well as security prices for investment reports. In terms of ease of use its pretty much the same as Quicken for Windows. There is a little bit of a learning curve but that seems to be the case for any money management software out there. Banktivity is a solid value at $59.99 and I highly recommend it.

Since I originally switched, Intuit® came out with a number of Quicken versions for macOS. After numerous versions with poor Amazon reviews, the latest version gets good reviews and is slightly less than Banktivity. That said, given Banktivity's solid execution I'm not planning to switch and if you are newly in the market for money management software I recommend giving it a try.
